With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, the Holidays are practically here – which means it’s time for InterConnect’s Annual Christmas Toy Drive! Now through December 14, you can donate a toy to a child in need at our headquarters at 5024 W. Vickery Blvd, Fort Worth, TX. We ask that you bring a new, unwrapped toy anytime between 8AM and 4PM, Monday through Thursday.
For the past 8 years, InterConnect has hosted a toy drive to benefit the Como Community Center, located just 2 miles from InterConnect Wiring in our immediate community. We are always looking for ways to give back to our local community, and the Como Community Center has served our area in so many ways!
The center was built in 1970 and has offered a great after-school program for over 20 years now, with more than 150 students participating every year. Additionally, the center also offers several meal programs as well as a Mobile Pantry initiative done in collaboration with Tarrant Area Food Bank. Not only does Como provide vital assistance to low-income individuals, but they are also the only community center in Fort Worth with a track and field team, as well as pee-wee football and youth cheerleading leagues.
