Roll Up Your Sleeves and Give!
InterConnect is hosting a Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 9:00am – 3:00pm at InterConnect located at 5024 West Vickery Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
InterConnect is partnering with Carter BloodCare in its “Roll Up Your Sleeves and Give” campaign. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness, educate and increase donor participation. InterConnect is dedicated to help Carter BloodCare achieve their goal by soliciting the support of our employees, customers, suppliers, and the community.
Every 3 seconds, someone in the United States of America needs blood. In addition, 1 in 3 people will need a blood product in their lifetime. By donating you can help make a difference in someone’s life.
Research shows that donating blood can help reduce the risk of heart attacks and cancer in you. In addition to reducing iron levels, it’s beneficial to the health conscious; donating blood burns 650 calories per pint given.
