InterConnect Wiring recently welcomed U.S. Congressman Roger Williams to see our Fort Worth headquarters for an opportunity to meet with employees and see firsthand how our team supports the aerospace and defense industry.
Congressman Williams represents Texas’ 25th Congressional District and serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business. A longtime North Texan, Williams has focused much of his work in Congress on supporting American businesses, strengthening the economy, and advancing national security.
A Conversation with InterConnect Employees
The visit began with Congressman Williams addressing InterConnect Wiring employees gathered together at our Fort Worth facility.
Williams spoke directly with the team before opening the floor for questions, giving employees an opportunity to engage with their congressional representative and discuss topics important to the workforce, the aerospace industry, and the North Texas community.
For InterConnect Wiring, bringing these conversations directly to the people behind our products was an important part of the visit. Our employees are at the center of everything we do, from engineering and manufacturing to quality, procurement, testing, and program support.
A Look Inside Aerospace Wiring Manufacturing
Following the employee discussion, InterConnect Wiring President Joshua Bryant led Congressman Williams on a tour of the facility.
Throughout the tour, Williams saw the people, processes, and capabilities behind the electrical wiring products and services InterConnect Wiring provides to the aerospace and defense industry.
The visit offered an up-close look at the level of precision and craftsmanship required to manufacture and support electrical wiring systems for military aircraft. From individual components and wiring harnesses to complex electrical systems, every stage of the process requires close attention to quality, reliability, and mission requirements.
It also provided an opportunity to demonstrate the role specialised manufacturers like InterConnect Wiring play within the larger aerospace and defense supply chain.
Supporting the Aerospace and Defense Industrial Base
North Texas has long been an important center for aerospace and defense manufacturing, supported by a network of manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, skilled technicians, and other industry partners.
InterConnect Wiring is proud to be part of that community.
For more than 30 years, our team has provided electrical wiring solutions for military aerospace applications. Our work spans engineering, manufacturing, testing, modification, and sustainment, allowing us to support aircraft and our industry partners throughout the product lifecycle.
Visits like Congressman Williams’ provide an opportunity to connect the work happening on our production floor with broader conversations surrounding American manufacturing, workforce development, small business, and national defense.
Connections Matter
At InterConnect Wiring, we believe connections matter — with our employees, our customers, our suppliers, our community, and our products.
We appreciate Congressman Roger Williams taking the time to meet with our employees, answer their questions, and tour our facility. We were proud to share the work our team performs every day and the role InterConnect Wiring continues to play in supporting the aerospace and defense industry.
