Looking Into 2024: What’s Ahead for the Aerospace & Defense Industry

 

The new year is here, and it’s time to get back to work! We are looking forward to the events and tradeshows lined up for 2024. Let’s take a look at the Top 10 tradeshows to attend in the first half of the year.

 

1. WHMA Global Leadership Summit

We’re kicking off the year with the WHMA Annual Global Leadership Summit in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Taking place from February 13 through 15, this networking event is for executives representing wire harness manufacturers, OEMs, and suppliers for companies that build wiring harnesses and cable assemblies. The WHMA Annual Global Leadership Summit is poised to offer the tools you need to help your business succeed in the fast-changing landscape of aerospace and defense.

 

2. MRO Latin America

Second on our list is Aviation Week’s MRO Latin America in San Jose, Costa Rica. Happening February 14 to 15, MRO Latin America is the leading event for the commercial air transport repair, maintenance, and overhaul industry. Not only are we excited to visit this beautiful cultural mecca, but we’re also looking forward to connecting with leaders and innovators from across the globe who represent the most trusted brands and organizations in the aviation industry. #MROLA

 

3. Singapore Airshow

After catching some sunshine in Costa Rica, we’re headed to another sunny place with dazzling skyscrapers – Singapore. Taking place from February 20 to 25 at the Raffles Hotel, the 2024 Singapore Airshow is an exclusive reception with high-level U.S. government officials, AIA member company executives, and premier foreign delegations (this event is open to AIA members and invited guests only).

 

4. HAI Heli-Expo

Next on our agenda is the HAI Heli-Expo in Anaheim, California. From February 26 through 29, you can connect with over 600 industry suppliers, build strategic connections, discover the issues that will shape the aviation’s future, and so much more.

 

5. SXSW Conference

From March 8 to 15, we’re swinging by Austin, TX for the annual SXSW Conference. Featuring the most important breakthroughs in technology, film, culture, and music, SXSW proves that the most unexpected discoveries happen when diverse people and topics come together. This event provides an opportunity for the global community of digital creatives to encounter cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with other professionals who share a similar appetite for forward-focused experiences.

 

6. NGAT Conference

The 65th Annual NGAT (National Guard Association of Texas) Conference will be held at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock, TX from March 21 to 24. NGAT, a non-profit veterans organization with over 32,000 members, was founded in 1959 by a group of Warrant Officers on the principle that it is important to have an organization speak out for the Texas National Guard and its members. Join us as we celebrate 65 years of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who choose to serve in the Texas National Guard. At this conference, we’ll come together to enjoy the memories of the past and make plans to revitalize the future of NGAT.

 

7. MRO Americas

From April 9 to 11, we’ll be in Chicago for Aviation Week’s MRO Americas – the leading MRO show for sellers and buyers for the past 30 years. MRO Americas joins the airline supply chain together to network, partner and shape the commercial aviation maintenance industry. The three-day exhibition features nearly 1000 exhibitors from around the world, representing all levels of the airline supply chain. Connect with over 16,000 industry professionals at this global leadership event.

 

8. AAAA Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit

After MRO Americas in Chicago, we’re headed to Denver, Colorado for the AAAA Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit. AAAA is the only not-for-profit organization dedicated to representing the broad interests of Army Aviation. With 79 Chapters worldwide, its membership of over 18,000 comprises Active Duty, Reserve Components (Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve), government civilian, retired, industry, affiliated organizations and friends of Army Aviation. 

 

9. The Vertical Flight Society’s 80th Annual Forum & Technology Display

Our next stop is Montreal, Quebec for The Vertical Flight Society’s 80th Annual Forum & Technology Display. This is the world’s leading international technical event on vertical flight technology. Spanning over three days from May 7 to 9, this conference includes presentations and discussions by leaders in the military and government agency industries. The Technology Display, running concurrent with the Forum, is the most extensive exposition of cutting-edge vertical flight technologies in the world where leading manufacturers, service providers, defense agencies, universities, and research development organizations showcase the very latest in vertical flight tech.

 

10. AIA Spring Board of Governors and Membership Meeting

The last leg of our first-half-of-2024 tour takes us to the capitol city of America. The bi-annual Board of Governors and Membership Meeting brings together over 200 Aerospace & Defense industry leaders for a three-day event in Washington, D.C. From May 21 to 23, this event includes presentations from high-level government officials, key industry experts, numerous networking activities and memorable keynote dinner speakers. Full members are invited to attend.

Our License

We are the sole licensee of Lockheed Martin for F-16 electrical products. Through this agreement, we have access to Lockheed Martin’s F-16 engineering data, tooling and configuration control information. We also have a Technical Services agreement with Sikorsky for all of their aircraft. This agreement allows us to obtain their engineering data needed to rewire helicopters that Sikorsky manufactures.
