International Women’s Day

It’s International Women’s Day! There are so many female pioneers in aviation who have helped break the barriers women face in the eyes of equal opportunity. We wanted to highlight a few women who have accomplished some amazing challenges:

Nancy Harkness Love earned her private pilot certificate in 1930 at the age of just 16 and ended up leading a total of 303 ferry pilots during World War II. Thank you, Nancy!

Katherine Cheung received her pilot’s license in 1932 as the FIRST licensed Asian-American female pilot. Way to go Katherine!

Patty Wagstaff was the first woman to win the U.S. National Aerobatic Championship and is one of the few pilots in the world who combines professional airshow flying with competitive aerobatics. An amazing and unique craft, Patty!

We are the sole licensee of Lockheed Martin for F-16 electrical products. Through this agreement, we have access to Lockheed Martin’s F-16 engineering data, tooling and configuration control information. We also have a Technical Services agreement with Sikorsky for all of their aircraft.
