Coming up in the third quarter of 2017, InterConnect Wiring has many more exciting trade shows planned!
The first event on the books is the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Supplier Management Council (SMC) Summer Meeting hosted by Huntington Ingalls. It will be held July 10th through July 12th in Biloxi, MS. In fact, InterConnect Wiring’s own Vice President and Co-Owner, Clare McGarrey, is currently a member of the AIA SMC exclusive Executive Committee (EXCOM)! AIA’s Supplier Management Council (SMC) is a unique forum where senior supply chain representatives from system integrators and manufacturers tackle issues that impact the aerospace and defense supply chain. The Council’s mission is to integrate and focus the collective capabilities of the supply chain, at every level, to influence the strategies, policies, and regulations that enable the U.S. aerospace and defense industry to successfully compete in the global market, be profitable, and strengthen the U.S. position as the world leader. Some AIA SMC companies besides InterConnect Wiring include Lockheed Martin, Boeing, L-3, BAE, Honeywell, Raytheon, Rockwell Collins, Northrop Grumman, Textron, and GE Aviation, among others.
The next trade show will be the Feria Aeronautica Internacional (F-Air) in Antioquia, Colombia from July 13th through July 16th. After Colombia, InterConnect Wiring will head to Taiwan to attend the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE), August 17th – 19th. With Taiwan as a leading F-16 User country, it is important that InterConnect Wiring is present at Taiwan’s most globalized exhibition in the aerospace and defense industry. The exhibition, divided into five areas including aerospace, defense, airframe structure, flight control system & unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and aerospace machine tool, is estimated to see 140 exhibitors using 730 booths. Next, InterConnect returns to the heart of the United States to attend the 12th Annual Tinker & The Primes in Midwest City, OK, August 21st through August 23rd. This show has a strong reputation for attracting hundreds of aerospace, defense, and government organizations to network and develop business relations with one another. Some of the conference’s favorite events include featured briefings from Tinker Air Force Base, opportunities to tour the base, as well as a contracting academy with educational workshops. In September, InterConnect is planning to attend three events, the first of which is the NGAUS 139th General Conference & Exhibition in Louisville, Kentucky from the 7th – 10th. This exhibition is hosted by the National Guard Association of the United States, which is the oldest and sole lobbyist military association for the National Guard. This conference provides a variety of both business and social networking opportunities for attendees. Check out their website.
InterConnect Wiring hosts a booth right next to Lockheed Martin at the F-16 Technical Coordination Group (TCG) Worldwide Review (WWR) in Ogden, Utah September 10th -14th. The Worldwide Review (WWR) is the capstone service provided by the TCG each year allowing all member countries to gather in one location to discuss common configuration/maintenance/and logistics issues and meet with qualified suppliers, USG Engineers, Equipment Specialists and Program Managers for possible solutions. And last, but not least is the Air Force Association Air & Space Conference in National Harbour, Maryland from September 18th – 20th. This is one of the nation’s premier events for defense and aerospace professionals to connect with one another. This event draws in important Air Force leaders and keynote speakers such as the Secretary of the Air Force, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, commanders, and chief master sergeants of the Air Force.
