InterConnect Wiring is staying busy in 2018 with many upcoming trade shows, conferences, and events all around the world!
We’ll be kicking off the 2018 trade show season at the Air Force Contracting Summit at the end of this January, from the 29th – 30th. The Air Force Contracting Summit is in its 5th consecutive year and will be held in Destin-Miramar Beach, Florida. Its focus is on providing attendees with all information concerning the US Air Force, which includes budget proposals, mission priorities, future innovation plans, and new contracting opportunities. Next up on the agenda is the Singapore Airshow, held from February 6th – 11th. This trade show is Asia’s largest aerospace and defense event. High-level government, military officials, and senior-level executives attend this conference every two years in order to forge new partnerships, exchange ideas, and discuss solutions. From February 14th – 18th, we will be attending Aero India’s 11th annual conference in Bangalore. Aero India has already carved a niche for itself globally as a premier aerospace exhibition, with participation from 33 countries and 644 companies. The WHMA 25th Annual Wire Harness conference is up next in February, held in Scottsdale, AZ, from the 13th – 15th. WHMA Conference provides an opportunity for attendees to learn, grow, share, and discover new approaches to many aspects of the wire harness industry. It features a number of presentations on topics relevant to wire harness manufacturers, OEM’s, and suppliers. There will be peer-to-peer networking opportunities and a best-practices roundtable. The HAI HELI-EXPO will be in Las Vegas, NV, from February 26th – March 1st. This expo is where the global helicopter industry gathers to build professional networks and solutions. 20,000 industry professionals will be attendance with over 20% coming from International destinations. Our first trade show of March is AeroExpo, located in Toluca, Mexico, from March 1st – 3rd. It is AeroExpo’s 15th International aviation tradeshow and conference. This is a business-to-business conference that focuses on establishing new professional relationships and sharing relevant industry information. Find out more about it on their website.
From March 20th – 22nd is the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Supplier Management Council (SMC) Spring Meeting located in Indianapolis, IN. This year’s event, hosted by Rolls-Royce, provides a forum where senior supply chain representatives can meet to tackle certain issues facing the supply chain and hear more about the latest trends in the industry. This event features Business-to-Business meetings, industry informational sessions, networking opportunities, a keynote dinner and a tour of the host company’s facilities. Next, InterConnect Wiring will be attending the 59th Annual National Guard Association of Texas (NGAT) state conference “Be You – Believe In Yourself”. It will be held March 23rd – March 25th at the La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa in Montgomery, Texas. There will be a Silent Auction, Breakout Sessions in order to get a License To Carry, as well as networking opportunities with sponsors and corporate members. Read up on this event here.
Last but not least, the final conference InterConnect will be attending the first quarter of 2018 is AeroDef Manufacturing, held from March 26th – 19th in Long Beach, CA. AeroDef Manufacturing is the leading exposition and technical conference for the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. AeroDef showcases the industry’s most advanced technologies.
