As the aerospace industry continues to evolve, it is important to recognize the companies that have been instrumental in shaping it. InterConnect Wiring, a Fort Worth based business that specializes in manufacturing wiring harnesses for fighter aircraft, is one such company. This year, InterConnect Wiring celebrates its 30th anniversary, and to commemorate this milestone, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker paid a visit to InterConnect Wiring headquarters.
During her visit, Mayor Parker expressed her appreciation for the company’s contributions to the aerospace industry. InterConnect Wiring has been a key supplier for many of the world’s leading military and defense Primes, as well as the military direct, providing reliable and high-quality wiring harnesses for fighter jets such as the F-16, F-22, and F-15 as well as rotary helicopters such as the UH-60, UH-1, AH-1, and V-22.
“InterConnect Wiring has been a critical player in the aerospace industry for the past 30 years,” said Mayor Parker. “Their commitment to quality and innovation has helped to ensure that our military and defense contractors have the tools they need to keep our country safe.”
InterConnect Wiring was founded in 1993 by brother-sister duo John Ashour and Clare McGarrey. Ashour, the president, is an F-16 electrical systems specialist. He also designed electrical systems for several other aerospace platforms like the C-130J and the Archangel. His experience in the field inspired him to start his own company, which quickly became known for its expertise in designing and manufacturing wiring harnesses for fighter aircraft. McGarrey, the Vice President, is widely recognized for her expertise in the field of wiring harnesses and is a sought-after speaker and consultant on the subject. She has been instrumental in the development of many of the company’s key products and has played a key role in InterConnect Wiring’s growth and success over the years.
Today, InterConnect Wiring remains a leader in its field, providing wiring harnesses for a wide range of military and defense applications, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The company’s success is a testament to its commitment to quality and its focus on meeting the unique needs of its customers.
“We are honored to have Mayor Parker visit our ‘Plant’ and celebrate our 30th anniversary with us,” said John Ashour. “Our success over the past three decades is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we look forward to continuing to provide the highest quality products and services to our customers for many years to come.”
As the aerospace industry continues to grow and evolve, it is companies like InterConnect Wiring that play a vital role in shaping its future. By providing innovative solutions and reliable products, InterConnect Wiring has earned its reputation as a leader in the field, and its 30th anniversary is a testament to its continued commitment to excellence.
