UH-60 Black Hawk Rewire
In 2008, InterConnect Wiring completed a major rewire of UH-60 Black Hawks at our Meacham Airport hangar. The MS Army National Guard (ARNG) was flying 12 of the helicopters and the OK ARNG was flying 12 as well. These 24 Black Hawks were all in various configurations “tricked up” by our fearless 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). The 160th A.K.A. “Night Stalkers” are the Army’s only Special Ops Aviation force, therefore reconfigured the Black Hawks to whatever they needed for the mission at the time. Because the OK ARNG and MS ARNG inherited these 24 birds they asked that InterConnect Wiring bring the helicopters all back to a UH-60A “Vanilla” configuration, which we did. It was an honor working with the ARNG on this unique endeavor.
The AH-1Z Demonstrator
In 2013, InterConnect partnered with Bell on a demonstrator version of the AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter. This project required mutual collaboration and precise modifications to the aircraft’s electrical systems ensuring the highest level of performance during testing and evaluation. Our ability to support prototype platforms such as the AH-1Z demonstrates our commitment to furthering innovation in military aviation.
IOMAX – Archangel
In 2017, InterConnect Wiring was called on to create a fully custom wiring harness design for the IOMAX Archangel border security project, IOMAX specializes in armed surveillance aircraft. Our team engineered, built, and tested wiring systems that integrated seamlessly with the aircraft’s avionics. This project demonstrated our capability to meet specialized military requirements as well as support the precise design demands for the aircraft’s avionics system and electrical wire harness routing.
